Burl Sheldon is talented songwriter, singer and guitar player.  He’s a big guy with a big voice, and he needed a guitar to match.  This guitar puts out a lot of sound.

Burl and I often fish together, so we decided on Sockeye Salmon for the fingerboard inlay.  This was my first foray into using stained glass as an inlay material.  The glass is more difficult to work with than shell.  It takes diamond tools to cut and shape it.  The advantage is that it gives me a full color palette for my artwork.
